Daily fantasy sports have become such a thing that many of the largest providers, like FanDuel or DraftKings, made sure their players can participate in daily fantasy leagues while on the go. The big fantasy sites all have an app and if you don’t like using an app, the site is optimized for mobile users. Both Android and iOS alike.

How it works

So how does that work, playing fantasy sports from your mobile? The basics are the same. Before you can participate in any site, you’ll have to create an account. You can do that in two ways: either you browse to the mobile-optimized site or your download the app. On either, the process of creating an account is the same. It will require your personal information and a few verification steps such as proofing your email address. The next step would be to load funds in your account, which can usually be done in a variety of ways. Credit card and Paypal are a few popular options, but Bitcoin is possible at some sites too.

App or mobile-optimized site

The big fantasy providers have two options for players. Either you download the app and participate in contests that way or you browse to the website. There is something to say for both, but generally, the app provides a better experience. That’s because it’s laid out in such a way that you can easily click, browse and organize contests. As you might know, participating in daily fantasy sports requires quite some statistical analysis. Processing lots of information on a small screen is not easy, a good reason to download the app.

FanDuel Mobile

FanDuel is a fantasy sports site from New York that has been around since 2009. Since then, they’ve become one of the biggest sites for daily fantasy sports out there. The website is easy to use and optimized for all mobile players. They continuously attract more players, a few factors are to thank for it. First and foremost, the site is just easy and pleasant to use. A good overview of the different sports, matches, leagues and statistical information. Furthermore, they offer a great selection of prizes, considerably the most generous ones in the business.

FanDuel app

FanDuel has an app which you can download on your Android or Apple device, but it’s equally easy to browse to the website from your mobile. The site is optimized so your playing experience will be great.

DraftKings Mobile

Just like FanDuel, also DraftKings has a website which you can easily access from a mobile device. DraftKings is a few years younger than FanDuel, they were founded in 2012. Which makes it all the more impressive how they’ve grown so big in such little time. From your mobile phone (Android or Apple) you can reach the website, it’s optimized and has no flaws. Except maybe for the general fact that yes, on a small screen, it’s not always so easy to grasp the overload of information. That is the stats, different matches and other information that you might need. Nevertheless, it’s perfectly do-able and you can always use a tablet instead of a mobile phone.

DraftKings app

DraftKings also has an app, which we personally prefer over using the mobile-optimized site. It just gives a little better overview and organization. When playing daily fantasy sports, the quicker you can get your draft done, the better. Just like FanDuel, DraftKings also offers million-dollar prizes. There is much to discover at both of these fantasy giants any many fans actually end up using both FanDuel and DraftKings interchangeably.
